Government Procurement Efficiency and Combatting Corruption Workshop

CLDP hosted in close cooperation with the Ukraine Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Infrastructure, the second workshop on public procurement and corruption. With Ukraine's recent accession (May 2016) to the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA) under the WTO, CLDP is assisting the Ukrainian public and private sectors to align the local laws with the GPA standards, while working to minimize opportunities for corruption.

Anti-corruption Initiatives in the Field of Business: New Legislation of Ukraine and Recommendations on its Application Based on International Experience

CLDP in cooperation with Corporate Governance Professional Association (CGPA) and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) supported a workshop on Anti-corruption Initiatives in the Field of Business: New Ukrainian Legislation and Recommendations for its Application Based on the International Experience, which took place in Uzhgorod in December 2016. The workshop aimed to use Ukraine’s new anti-corruption laws to educate both government officials and business representatives about how they can contribute to an overall reduction in corruption.
