Ukraine: Workshop on the Adjudication of Disputes Related to Antimonopoly and Competition Legislation

CLDP, in coordination with the U.S. judges, will collaborate with the Ukrainian judiciary to implement a three-day workshop on Adjudication of Disputes Related to Antimonopoly and Competition Legislation, where the Ukrainian and U.S. judges will share their experience and expertise on the key priority issues of adjudication of competition disputes.

Honduras: Optimizing Operations Through Intergovernmental Cooperation and Centrally-Published Information

On November 19-20, 2019, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, CLDP & ITA will conduct a workshop on effective interagency coordination to facilitate comprehensive publication of trade-related and centrally-published information. Participants will include technical representatives from the Honduran and Guatemalan Ministries of Economy, Customs, Health, and Agriculture, and Honduran private sector representatives. During the workshop the Honduran participants will meet with their U.S. counterparts from the Department of Commerce, Customs and Border Protection, Health and Human Services, and the Food and Drug Administration to learn best practices for coordinating across trade ministries and publishing trade-related information in a non-discriminatory, easy-to-access manner. With support from the Honduran-American Chamber of Commerce, the participants will share respective efforts to encourage trade through greater transparency and improve publication practices. This workshop is part of a multiphase effort to promote transparency, cooperation, and coordination within the Honduran government, and to improve interregional trade in Central America.

On November 13-14, 2019, CLDP, in coordination with the International Trade Administration, will conduct a workshop on public consultation and interagency coordination for up to 100 government officials in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

CLDP in collaboration with the Cassation Commercial Court of Ukraine within the Supreme Court will implement a three-day workshop, where the Ukrainian and U.S. judges will share their experience and expertise on the key priority issues of implementation of bankruptcy procedures.
