ASEAN: CLDP Holds Joint Third Country Training Program on Investment and Competition with Singapore

CLDP conducted its third joint Third Country Training Program (TCTP) course with Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Competition Commission of Singapore on Competition, Transparency and Investment. Thirty-one participants represented 7 other ASEAN members.  Over the course of the week, the participants learned about procedural fairness in competition investigations; regulatory transparency, coherence, and cooperation; and efficient business ecosystems that enable small and medium enterprises to compete and promote innovation.  The program focused on the importance of transparency and opportunities for the public and interested parties to be heard.

On August 5-8, 2019, CLDP supported the participation of a delegate from the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation, Krygyz Republic, and the Kazakh Patent Agency in a Trademarks IP Office Administration training, hosted by the USPTO in Alexandria, Virginia.
