February 13, 2017 - February 17, 2017
ASEAN at TCTP SMEs training

On February 13-17, CLDP, in cooperation with Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and training agency Globalab, conducted a TCTP training course on small and medium enterprise ecosystems. This course was a targeted follow-up to CLDP’s competition and investment course held in December 2015. All nine ASEAN countries participated in the course.

The program focused on helping the ASEAN members develop SME-enabling ecosystems, access to finance for SMEs, and helping SMEs prepare for export readiness. Small and Medium Enterprises make up over 90% of ASEAN’s commercial enterprises and are often an integral part of regional and global supply chains.
