CLDP in Action

On February 14th CLDP met with Ambassador Viorel Ursu at Moldova's Embassy to the United States in Washington, DC. CLDP's multiple workstreams, areas of future cooperation, and Moldova's transitioning government were all topics of the discussion.

On February 13-14, CLDP conducted a workshop on procurement practices with the Sri Lankan Attorney General’s Department. The workshop focused on common approaches to public procurement, U.S. procurement best practices, bid evaluation, and bid protests.

From February 10-11, 2023, CLDP, in coordination with Association ARBITRI and the University of Zenica, held a two-day Pre-Moot competition to prepare law students for the 30th Willem C. Vis Moot competition (Vis Moot) that will take place this April in Vienna.

On February 10, CLDP provided a one-day workshop on International Commercial Arbitration to staff of the Centre for Economic Dispute Resolution and the National University of Laos. The program specifically covered arbitral agreements and enforcement of awards.

On February 9, the Chairman of the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia – Sakpatenti, Soso Giorgadze, visited CLDP’s office to meet with Chief Counsel Steve Gardner and members of the Georgia program implementation team.
