LDP will host a delegation of franchising stakeholders from Algeria and Tunisia, including government officials and private-sector executives, in Paris, France from March 17-19, 2017, for a workshop and expo visit focused on international franchising.
The delegation will attend a two-day training focusing on the basic concepts and legal aspects of franchising, including a visit to a local franchise. The participants also will attend Franchise Expo Paris, one of the largest such events in the world, with more than 400 franchises represented. At the expo, participants will be introduced to US franchises, facilitated in cooperation with US Embassy Paris.
This program is funded through the US Department of State's Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) as part of multi-year efforts to develop the franchising sectors in Algeria and Tunisia, with an aim of promoting entrepreneurship and economic development in those countries.
