CLDP and the Division for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve will organize a Course on Developing Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ideas in Faro, Portugal from April 3-8, 2017. The course is being held in partnership with the Center for Technology Tranfer and Entreprise Creation at Carnegie Mellon University and IN+, the Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research in Portugal. The program will be held for technology transfer and innovation stakeholders from universities, research centers, and other institutions from Algeria and Morocco. The course aims to provide practical tools, resources, and connections for business-development models for universities or research centers, to support and develop academic ideas as they are brought to the market. The program is largely funded through the U.S. Department of State's Middle East Partnership Initiative, which promotes entrepreneurship and innovation in the Middle East and North Africa.
