CLDP has a mandate to provide technical assistance to improve contract enforcement via alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms in the Arabian Peninsula. In Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, CLDP will conduct a series of programs in order to assist in the growth and effectiveness of the ADR centers in these country. CLDP will conduct a one-day program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on May 14, 2017 with the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and a one-day program in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on May 16, 2017 at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). These programs will focus on arbitration contract clause drafting. Attendees for these programs will representative stakeholders from legal and business communities keen to develop an effective system of quickly and inexpensively resolving international business disputes in these countries.
