February 7, 2019 - February 14, 2019

CLDP will sponsor the participation of technology transfer specialists from Algeria, Morocco, Sri Lanka, and Tunisia to attend the 2019 Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas from February 7-14, 2019.  Participants will attend a pre-conference program focusing on contract negotiation, training and networking on how to manage a technology transfer office.

February 9, 2019 - February 16, 2019

On February 9-16, CLDP will launch an export guide for Moroccan artisans in Marrakech, Morocco.

February 11, 2019 - February 15, 2019

On February 11-15, 2019, CLDP will hold week-long study tour for government representatives from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE) study tour will enhance the technical capacity of the participants as their governments work to create an environment conducive to increased economic and energy connectivity. During the study tour, participants will learn best practices for oil and gas pipeline standards (safety and regulation within the U.S.), cross-border pipelines, and alternatives.

February 13, 2019 - February 17, 2019

From February 13-17, CLDP will conduct a follow up five-day Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Oral Argument Training in Zenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina to support the second phase of its Willem C. Vis Moot Competition (Vis Moot) program.

February 21, 2019 - February 22, 2019

On February 21-22, 2019, CLDP will conduct a workshop on model contract drafting for microgrids in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The workshop will bring together representatives from the Honduran Ministry of Energy, the Electric Energy Regulatory Commission, the National Electric Energy Company, and other stakeholders to draft model contracts for microgrids to be used in the Honduran energy market, based on international examples and best practices.

February 24, 2019 - February 27, 2019

CLDP Attorney-Adviser Mais Abousy will participate as a speaker at the 2019 International Franchise Association Convention, as well as meet with U.S. franchise companies to provide consultations on franchise market presence in Iraq's Southern Governorates.
