PPP Webinar Series

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) series is a collection of on-demand webinars developed for Power Africa and the Indo-Pacific Strategy. PPPs provide an innovative approach to developing major infrastructure projects across the globe, but the development of a PPP requires a significant amount of time and resources. The webinar series details the PPP process, with expert presentations designed to help viewers navigate and understand the key concepts of PPPs.

Procurement Basics Series

The Procurement Basics Series (PBS) is a collection of pre-recorded presentations developed by CLDP and expert advisors. The PBS provides a high-level overview of specific topics and concepts within the procurement domain. These recordings were designed with CLDP's technical assistance projects in mind, particularly as we continue to expand our work in the procurement space.

CLDP in Action

February 21, 2021 - February 27, 2021

On February 21-27, CLDP, in cooperation with the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) and the University of Pittsburgh Center for International Legal Education, virtually hosted the 11th annual Middle East Vis Pre-Moot. The Pre-Moot is an extensive competition preparing students, lawyers, and law faculty for their participation in the 28th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot)—the world's premier legal educational program for improving contract resolution through arbitration. The Pre-Moot aims to expand the Vis Moot to underrepresented regions and enhance contract enforcement mechanisms globally. This year, the virtual Pre-Moot brought together over 180 students from 40 teams from the Middle East, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, North and South America, and Europe and over 200 arbitrators.
