Hana Hadzibegovic

Law Clerk

Hana Hadzibegovic is a Law Clerk within the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), in the Office of General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Ms. Hadzibegovic works on the Southeast Europe and Caucasus team. More specifically, Ms. Hadzibegovic works on regional and bilateral programs that focus on procurement, competition, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining CLDP, Ms. Hadzibegovic worked as a Law Clerk for an employment law firm and worked as an intern for the Capitol Forum. Ms. Hadzibegovic’s other experiences include working within the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and within the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the Department of State.

Ms. Hadzibegovic earned her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law. She competed in The Global Antitrust Institute Invitational Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. and was a Junior Editor for The Arbitration Brief. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Mason University with a degree in Global Affairs, Conflict Analysis and Resolution, and Psychology. She has studied abroad at Oxford University in England, Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and also participated in a summer law program in The Hague.

Ms. Hana Hadzibegovic is fluent in Bosnian and Serbo-Croatian and is pending admittance to practice law in the District of Columbia.
