Saudi Arabia – Best Practices for Bankruptcy Trustees

On December 9, in order to assist the Saudi Arabia Bankruptcy Commission in developing best practices in administrative liquidation and trustee practices, CLDP and the Bankruptcy Commission, in collaboration with the U.S Department of Justice U.S. Trustees Program and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Puerto Rico, conducted a webinar regarding management by trustees in insolvency cases.  During the webinar Saudi Trustees learned how U.S. Trustees manage cases during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Saudi Trustees also learned U.S. bankruptcy judges’ expectations of documentation received from Trustees during bankruptcy cases. Improved bankruptcy law implementation improves opportunities for U.S. companies to invest and conduct business in Saudi Arabia, by securing business transactions and increasing return on investment.

CLDP will hosted a webinar in partnership with ByHand Consulting to increase the export preparedness of artisans in Morocco. The presentation reviewed digital marketing tools for global artisan businesses and shared tips on how to create a digital strategy for today’s market. The Moroccan handicraft sector supports one million jobs and is essential to the economic and political stability of the country.

Kosovo: CLDP and Expert Agencies Organize Training to Facilitate Deployment of 5G

On December 8-9th,  CLDP hosted a two-part webinar in partnership with Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to help Kosovo with its spectrum policy and identifying the criteria for supply chain risk management as Kosovo prepares to lay the groundwork for deployment of next generation cellular networks.
