CLDP Supports the Second Working Meeting on Georgian Insolvency Law

-

On March 23-25, 2023, in coordination with Georgia’s Business Rehabilitation and Insolvency Practitioners Association (BRIPA), CLDP will cohost and join the “Second Working Meeting on Georgian Insolvency Law,” in Tbilisi, Georgia (the “Working Meeting”).

The Working Meeting will bring together Georgian bankruptcy practitioners, first-instance judges from Tbilisi and Kutaisi, and their assistants to discuss challenges encountered to date in implementing Georgia’s “Law on Rehabilitation and Collective Satisfaction of Creditors,” which went into effect in 2020.

BRIPA, a USAID-funded, locally based, women-led, non-profit organization, was founded in 2018 to strengthen Georgia’s insolvency system by providing capacity-building activities to insolvency practitioners and by lobbying government officials for reforms.
