Pakistan – Webinar Intellectual Property Judicial Workshop I

December 9, 2020

CLDP, in cooperation with USPTO, will provide a file link to select Pakistani judges likely to adjudicate intellectual property (IP) cases (e.g., IP Tribunal Presiding Officers) and who register/accept an invitation to the webinar from CLDP.

This multi-day 2-hour webinar will consist of a mix of recorded presentations and live discussion by U.S. and Pakistani experts, and will cover the basic concepts of IP (e.g., patent, trademark, copyright), as well as best practices regarding the substantive and administrative workings of a court/IP Tribunal for the effective adjudication (e.g., quality, timing, consistency) of cases involving IP matters.  The IP Judicial Workshop I is the first in a series of webinars addressing increasingly more complex and difficult IP matters for consideration and discussion by and among the attending judges, including IP related issues specifically identified by the Pakistani judges before, during or after an IP webinar workshop.
