On June 1-2, CLDP and the Cyberspace and Digital Policy Bureau (CDP), will invite countries from the Western Balkans, Caucasus, and EU member states to participate in a regional workshop on 5G security, supplier diversity, and open RAN in Warsaw, Poland. This workshop is being funded by the Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership as a follow-on engagement to a CLDP organized workshop in Croatia in July 2022.The goal of this event is to reiterate the security concerns with using untrusted suppliers, and to dive deeper into the implementation of the 5G Toolbox by providing concrete examples both from the U.S. and EU experts. In addition, the workshop will advance U.S. policy goals on Open RAN and supplier diversity.
