On December 1-2, 2022, CLDP, in partnership with U.S. Embassy Sarajevo and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at the Carnegie Mellon Institute, will host a workshop on building a computer emergency response team (CERT). Primary stakeholders are the staff of the newly formed Cybersecurity Excellence Center (CSEC) at the University of Sarajevo, as well as other potential CERT members. In addition, the workshop will feature a speaker from Montenegro who will present on lessons learned and challenges in Montenegro which has also been hit hard with cyberattacks. Primary goal of the project is to build up Bosnia’s cyber resilience and capacity given that the country does not have a national CERT or cybersecurity law at the national level.
