On February 2-3, 2023, CLDP, in coordination with the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law, will host a two-day workshop which aims to provide an overview of arbitration principles and best practices to private sector participants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From February 6-8, 2023, CLDP, in coordination with Association ARBITRI and the University of Zenica, will hold a three-day training on oral advocacy to prepare law students from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro for the 30th Willem C.

At the request of the Ministry of Finance of the Maldives, CLDP will develop and conduct a workshop on complaint management, as well as bid protests, and the blacklisting of companies. The two-day workshop will engage the Ministry of Finance as well as other relevant ministries.

From February 10-11, 2023, CLDP, in coordination with Association ARBITRI and the University of Zenica, will hold a two-day Pre-Moot competition to prepare law students for the 30th Willem C. Vis Moot competition (Vis Moot) that will take place virtually in April 2023.

On February 13-14, CLDP will host a two-day workshop for Kosovo Customs.

At the request of the Attorney General’s Department of Sri Lanka, CLDP will develop and deliver a workshop focused on topics related to infrastructure procurement.

On February 15-16, CLDP will hold a two-day conference on modernizing Ecuador’s technology infrastructure and creating a more resilient cybersecurity framework for key systems like data centers and government facilities.

On February 19-22, 2023, CLDP will support technology transfer delegations from Algeria, Armenia, Georgia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Tunisia to attend and participate in the AUTM Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

From February 22-26, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), in coordination with Arbitration Initiative Georgia, will lead three programs to prepare law students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to compete in the annual Willem C.

From March 20-24, 2023, CLDP will host an interethnic, interdisciplinary group of IP law experts in Washington, DC for a study tour of various aspects of US IP law. The working group is in the process of updating the first edition of CLDP-published IP law Benchbook from 2013 on Bosnian IP law.

From March 28-April7, 2023, CLDP will sponsor six teams from the Western Balkans, and 3 teams from the Southern Caucasus to attend the 30th Willem C. Vis Moot competition (Vis Moot) that will take place in Vienna, Austria from March 31-April 7, 2023.
