Pakistan Energy Delegation with Pakistani Minister of Trade and representatives from the Departments of State and Energy

CLDP organized a four-day workshop on reforming gas pricing to increase power generation for officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources and the Oil and Gas Development Company, Ltd.  The workshop provided examples and lessons learned from the deregulation of gas sectors internationally. The workshop covered the balancing of demands for low domestic prices with the need to incentivize exports, while ensuring a commitment to maintain rationalized consumer gas prices.
