On June 16-20 in New York, in cooperation with the Foreign Commercial Service, CLDP conducted a franchise program for a 20-member delegation of prospective franchise investors from Iraq. The delegation participated in interactive sessions led by franchise experts and met with U.S. franchisors during a two-day workshop. The training focused on the legal and commercial framework necessary for franchising, including a comprehensive analysis of essential terms and conditions within franchise agreements and provided an understanding of how to attract franchisors to the Iraqi market. Following the training, the delegation attended the 2015 International Franchise Expo from June 18-20, where they interacted with more than 400 franchise exhibitors.
