On February 22-23, in Pristina, CLDP hosted a workshop for Kosovar customs officials on the enforcement of sanctions and export control in customs processing. Including representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Patrol, Latvian Customs Authority, Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and private sector law firms in the U.S. and the EU, the workshop explored international best practices to ensure that restricted goods cannot be exported from, imported into, or transited through Kosovo.
