On March 21-22, CLDP hosted a strategic planning workshop for Karnali Province officials ahead of their upcoming Karnali Province Investment Summit that will take place from May 1-2, 2024. The workshop included discussions with experts on project identification and screening, project planning barriers, and public and elected officials' engagement. The workshop concluded with a business report project during which Karnali Province participants identified key projects to showcase at their investment summit, with the goal of implementing projects resilient to political pressures. This technical assistance is provided under the U.S. Department of State’s South and Central Asia Bureau.
