On June 9, CLDP, in cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Service in Pakistan, the U.S. Export Assistance Center (USEAC) Franchise Team, the USAID Mission to Pakistan, Karandaaz, and JS Bank, conducted  a webinar on "Franchising Opportunities on the Horizon for Pakistan." The webinar was attended by 39 prospective investors, nine of them were women recruited by the partners. The program was insightful in showcasing vibrant interest from businessmen and women, as well as entrepreneurs. The program reviewed the basics of franchising, the benefits of service franchises, and addressed capital and financing needs for franchising.
