CLDP organized a five-day workshop on negotiating contracts in the E&P sector for officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (MPNR) and the Oil and Gas Development Company, Ltd. (OGDCL).  The workshop addressed the theory and practice of negotiation so that Pakistani officials can adapt these skills to a wide variety of negotiating contexts.  A financial model expert presented on how to use an open-source E&P model for Pakistan’s upstream fiscal regime.  The workshop aimed to increase the capacity of OGDCL and MPNR officials to negotiate and close deals for sustainable investment in Pakistan’s upstream sector.
