CLDP, in collaboration with Power Africa’s East Africa Energy Program (EAEP) implemented the first phase of a training program focused on developing the capacity of the Eastern Africa Power Pool (EAPP) member countries and their General Secretariat representatives on public-private partnership (PPP) implementation. The training program is utilizing the highly respected APMG PPP certification program curriculum. The APMG PPP training system enables participants to establish a fundamental understanding of PPPs and eventually earn the Certified PPP Professional (CP3P) credential to officially convey that expertise and ability. CLDP is designing, preparing, and presenting material tailored to the specific functions and needs of the EAPP that encourages focus on key concepts, interactive exercises, and real-world case studies.
