Congratulations to the Vis Moot team representing the Royal Institute of Colombo, coached by The Moot Court Bench for making history as the first Sri Lankan team to win the Willem C. Vis East Moot!  After 8 months of intensive training, drafting memoranda, facing multiple practice rounds with international teams, and participating in various Pre-Moots, the team competed amongst 111 teams from across the globe at the Vis East. Following intense competition and back-to-back rounds over the course of seven days, the team made history, emerging as champions at the 20^th Vis East Moot and becoming the first ever Sri Lankan team to have achieved this feat. The team is comprised of Treshan Fernando, Abinesha Rajaratnam, Janithri Panditharatne, Naika Gooneratne, and Lalinka De Silva and  was guided by the MCB coaching team comprised of Harish Balakrishnan, Iranthi Walgama, Dilsarah Derrick, Namali Ratnayake, and Gaya Kulatunga.
