On May 25-27, CLDP and USAID supported the Dominican Republic’s first business fair and conference focused solely on small women-owned businesses in partnership with Asociación Nacional de Mujeres Empresarias, Ejecutivas, y Profesionales, INC (ANMEPRO), Asociacion Dominicana De Mujeres Empresaria

On May 25, CLDP, in collaboration with the General Directorate for Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG) and the Dominican National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), organized a public-private dialogue on strengthening integrity mechanisms in the private sector.

On May 24, CLDP, in collaboration with USAID DR and the Dominican Republic’s Competition Authority (Procompetencia) conducted a workshop for judges and prosecutors on detecting, investigating and prosecuting anti-competitive practices in the public procurement.

On May 24-25, 2023, in coordination with Georgia’s Business Rehabilitation and Insolvency Practitioners Association (BRIPA) and USAID, CLDP cohosted and joined the “Challenges of Modern Insolvency Law” Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia.

From May 21-26, CLDP, together with experts from Ag Aligned Global, conducted two workshops on risk assessment, management, and communication for food safety officials from Sri Lanka’s Department of Agriculture in Colombo and Kandy, Sri Lanka.
