On May 13-14, 2019,  CLDP held a two-day workshop on Public Private Partnership Finances in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This is the second event in a series of workshops that CLDP will facilitate in Ethiopia on Public-Private Partnerships. 

On May 8-9, 2019, CLDP & ITA conducted a workshop on ‘Best Practices: Interagency Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement,” for 70 government representatives from Central America’s Northern Triangle in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Just as Houston is, in the U.S., the center of the oil and gas sector, in Iraq, Basrah is the center of the oil and gas sector. In fact, for this reason, as a result of past CLDP work, there is now a sister-city agreement between Houston and Basrah.

On May 2-3, CLDP organized a two-day workshop to review Kuwait’s new bankruptcy draft law, which was hosted by the UN Committee on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in Vienna. For U.S.

On May 1-3, CLDP, in partnership with the Department of Energy, organized consultations for a delegation from Honduras and Guatemala in Puerto Rico to learn more about Puerto Rico’s Microgrid regulations and the market for microgrids.
