On May 31, CLDP conducted a workshop for Peru's Supervisory Body for State Contracting (OSCE)’s procurement professors and specialists from different divisions within OSCE including arbitration, risk management, regulation, national registry of suppliers, state electronic procurement system and the state procurement court. This interactive workshop included sessions on developing classroom and virtual facilitation skills needed to design and lead procurement courses for adult learners. The workshop also included sessions on how to effectively use case studies, such as the Harvard Business School model, role playing exercises, and interest-based negotiation skills. This workshop was part of CLDP’s broader effort to assist the OSCE in modernizing its certification programs through more effective and practical educational resources. CLDP’s programming was also recently highlighted in Peruvian media as an important component of Peru’s professionalization efforts.
