Improving the legal environment for business worldwide
On May 24-25, 2023, in coordination with Georgia’s Business Rehabilitation and Insolvency Practitioners Association (BRIPA) and USAID, CLDP cohosted and joined the “Challenges of Modern Insolvency Law” Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia.
From May 21-26, CLDP, together with experts from Ag Aligned Global, conducted two workshops on risk assessment, management, and communication for food safety officials from Sri Lanka’s Department of Agriculture in Colombo and Kandy, Sri Lanka.
On May 17, 2023, CLDP participated in a Public-Private Dialog (PPD) on the recently drafted amendments to Georgia’s Copyright Law regarding Collective Management Organizations (CMOs).
From May 15-21, 2023, 30 Government officials, civil society, and private sector representatives from Central Asia will travel to Malaysia and Singapore for a digital trade case study and Working Group Meeting.
From May 2-5, CLDP sponsored MITRE Corporation (MITRE) to travel to Montevideo to meet with the Administración Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (ANTEL) and the U.S. Embassy under a CLDP funded research and development center (FFRDC) contract.
