CLDP in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agriculture, supported the travel of the Government of Ukraine (GOU) delegation to the GPA Committee Meeting on October 16-20, 2017, at WTO Secretariat, Geneva. The GOU delegation consisted of two Ministry of Economic Development and Trade officials. They attended the GPA Committee meeting and participated in bilateral negotiations with the U.S. and other delegations.

The GOU participation in the GPA Committee Meeting will ensure Ukraine has a more active role on issues critical to Ukraine’s trade sector; it effectively accomplishes the procedural requirements, carries out the negotiations, and provides answers to questions posed by GPA Committee members, including the United States.
