CLDP, in cooperation with the National School of Judges and the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine, held a three-day workshop on Adjudication of Intellectual Property Infringement Cases in Yalta, Ukraine, July 20-22. In attendance were 21 judges from commercial courts and appeals courts throughout Ukraine as well as experts from the National School of Judges. The presentations and case studies for the workshop were prepared in direct response to questions and issues which had been previously sent to CLDP by the Ukrainian judges. Topics discussed during the workshop included trade dress and product packaging and design, trademark conflicts, remedies in IPR litigation, copyright infringement including collective copyright management organizations, trade secrets, and internet issues in IPR cases.
