Two U.S. Customs officials conducted the training – a continuation of a program conducted in December, 2002, on the methodology of valuation procedures – for twenty Ukrainian customs officials having senior responsibility for valuation at their respective border entry points.

The program consisted of a four-day workshop for senior officials representing accreditation activities in the Stability Pact countries.

An expert CLDP trade advisor conducted a workshop on various trade remedies available to Albania under the WTO system.

To facilitate regional legal and judicial ethics codes synthesizing the region's common law and civil law traditions, CLDP organized a three-day conference in Senegal where a pre-exsiting drafting committee presented a regional legal and judicial ethics code.

CLDP held a three-day conference during which the model investment law drafting committee, organized by CLDP, presented the finalized model investment law drafted over two previous sessions to ECOWAS, OHADA and WAEMU officials and government officials from the region's nations.
