On March 18-19, in collaboration with ITA, CBP, and USDA, CLDP conducted a trade facilitation workshop on best practices in public consultation for more than 60 government officials and private sector representatives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

On March 17-20, 2019, CLDP sponsored delegations of franchising stakeholders from Algeria and Tunisia, including government officials and private-sector executives, in which they attended a workshop and visited an expo focused on international franchising in Paris, France.

On March 13-14, 2019, in Doha, Qatar, CLDP conducted an assessment of training and capacity-building needs in the area of public private partnerships (PPP).

On Monday, March 11, 2019, in Baghdad, Iraq, at the behest of the U.S. Consulate General in Basrah, CLDP led a conference on franchising at the headquarters of the Iraqi agency in charge of foreign investment, the National Investment Committee (NIC).

On March 10-14, in Riyadh, CLDP met with stakeholders in the new public private partnership (PPP) legal regime in Saudi Arabia.
