Second only to agriculture in terms of employment, the handicraft sector in Tunisia is essential for income distribution and job growth across socio-economic levels, in particular with respect to women, who constitute 80% of the handicraft sector.

On March 29-30, CLDP, in cooperation with Morocco’s National Committee for the Business Environment and the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, conducted a conference on international best practices in the automation of court procedures. The conference was led by a U.S.

On March 26-28, in Manama, Bahrain, CLDP conducted two one-day legislative drafting programs for members of the Bahrain Council of Representatives and their professional staff.  Experts from CLDP and the U.S.

CLDP hosted a delegation of franchising stakeholders from Algeria and Tunisia, including government officials and private-sector executives, in Paris, France from March 23-25, 2018, for a workshop and expo visit focused on international franchising.

On March 22-29, 2018, CLDP sponsored three Middle East law schools: Iraqyia College of Law, Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis, and University of Jordan to participate in the 25th Annual Willem C.
