On October 14, CLDP, in collaboration with the Dominican General Directorate for Public Contracting and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, hosted a workshop on international experiences in developing regulation and policy for sustainable public procurement. The workshop provided comparative views from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Costa Rican Ministry of the Environment and Energy on tools and processes for developing environmentally sustainable public procurement. This program is part of CLDP's effort to improve comprehensive inclusivity and sustainability in the Dominican Republic's public procurement system.
