International Program Specialist Kate Casey is an International Program Specialist with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). She works primarily on CLDP’s Afghanistan portfolio. Prior to working at CLDP, Ms. Casey served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia, where she worked in community and economic development. Throughout her time in Armenia, Ms. Casey partnered with international agencies and donors to implement a variety of programming focused on project development and cultural preservation. Before her time in the Peace Corps, Ms. Casey worked in financial literacy in Waco, Texas, where she taught families and students basic financial planning practices. Ms. Casey attended Tulane University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations with a concentration in International Development. She speaks Armenian and intermediate Italian and Spanish.
