Alle Tyler is an Attorney Advisor with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce. She works on the Europe & Eurasia team, focusing on the Balkans. 

Prior to joining CLDP, Ms. Tyler was a Litigation Associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in their New York office. She focused on complex commercial litigation, appellate litigation, and the representation of sovereigns and sovereign-owned entities in cross-border disputes. 

Ms. Tyler graduated with a dual MA/ JD from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Georgetown University Law Center. At SAIS, she specialized in international economics and European and Eurasian studies. At Georgetown, she was a Global Law Scholar, a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution team, and the Mentoring Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. Ms. Tyler holds a BS summa cum laude from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. 

Ms. Tyler is admitted to practice in New York and D.C. and is fluent in Spanish.
