Andrew Frank is an Attorney Advisor in the Office of the General Counsel, Commercial Law Development Program where he works in the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to joining CLDP, Andrew was an Associate Attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, practicing law in the firm’s M&A, Asset Management and Capital Markets practice groups. Before Fried Frank, Andrew worked as a paralegal in a corporate immigration law firm and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Mississippi, where he worked on projects to alleviate food insecurity.

Andrew graduated cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where he participated in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and served as an Editor on the Alaska Law Review. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. Andrew received his Bachelor's degree in Government from Georgetown University and studied at Sciences Po Lyon. He has also interned at the U.S. Department of State and the Embassy of France in Washington, D.C.

Andrew is fluent in French and has an advanced level in Modern Standard Arabic. He has studied Arabic in Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt.
