Juan Pazmiño is an Attorney-Advisor, International with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). Prior to joining CLDP, Juan was an investigations and litigation associate at a Washington D.C. law firm, where he conducted corporate internal investigations and worked on various issues concerning corporate governance, ethics, and workplace misconduct. Juan has also worked as a consultant for the Coalition for Integrity, where he assisted with initiatives to promote transparency and integrity in the public and private sectors in the areas of anti-corruption and corporate compliance.

Juan received a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 2023. Throughout law school, he held internships at the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission, working on a range of federal investigations and enforcement matters at each agency’s respective Office of International Affairs. Juan graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University with a B.A. in Government and International Relations and a concentration in International Political Economy.

Juan is a native Spanish speaker and speaks some Italian.
