CLDP conducted an assessment trip to Tunis May 7-10, 2012, identifying numerous aspects of the country's investment laws which present hurdles to foreign investment in Tunisia, and then met with key Tunisian government identities and the private sector to successfully forge a consensus on the needs for a comparison with similar countries competing with Tunisia for investments.  As a result, CLDP is planning to hold a one day seminar in Tunis that will outline the investments laws of Morocco, Jordan and Turkey, which all have recently undergone reforms which have helped fuel their economy, highlighting the process they followed as well as the direct impact on investment.
