On December 13 – 14, CLDP will conduct an international commercial arbitration writing and oral advocacy training program for the reigning-champion, all-women Vis Moot team from Dar Al-Hekma College of Law.  For several years, CLDP has provided start-up assistance and continued training to the team, and its women law students continue to exceed international expectations by maintaining their lead in regional competition for the previous 4 years.  This month’s training program is conducted in preparation for the 8^th Annual Middle East Vis Pre-Moot and the 25^th Annual Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where arbitrators from around the globe are looking for the team to make it to the renowned Round of 64 in the competition.  Since 2014, the Dar Al-Hekma’s Vis Pre-Moot program has graduated over 30 women who are now working as legal professionals in international law firms, serving as high level officials in government, or have joined as law faculty at Dar Al-Hekma.
