Boone Bishop is a Senior International Program Specialist with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). Ms. Bishop primarily works on CLDP’s Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP) portfolio in Latin America and globally. Prior to 2021, Ms. Bishop worked on CLDP's Afghanistan portfolio. 

Before joining CLDP, Ms. Bishop spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa. During her time, she focused on gender and development and youth empowerment by implementing grants and projects within her community. Through her experience, Ms. Bishop developed a deep appreciation and understanding of The Gambia, its people, values, and culture. Prior to Peace Corps, Ms. Bishop worked in Hong Kong as a primary school teacher for two years. 

Ms. Bishop received her B.A. in Global and International Studies with a minor in Portuguese from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and Pulaar (or Fula, West Africa).
