On May 26, CLDP, at the request of the Attorney General’s Office of the Maldives, hosted an interactive virtual negotiation exercise as part of an ongoing series focused on infrastructure finance and investment. The exercise followed pre-recorded webinars on negotiation strategies, force majeure, and termination. The exercise included a scenario where participants from the Maldivian Attorney General’s Office were tasked with negotiating key terms of a contract between the development company, the local government, and the Ministry of Housing. CLDP’s programming with the Attorney General’s Office of the Maldives is part of its ongoing technical assistance under the Infrastructure Transaction and Assistance Network.
