On July 19, 2021, CLDP, in coordination with USAID and Embassy Pristina, held a webinar on international arbitration. The webinar featured an expert on international arbitration from Kosovo, Ms. Njomeza Zejnullahu, who provided an overview of status and application of international arbitration in Kosovo. Experts from the United States, Dr. Kabir Duggal and Rekha Rangachari, discussed aspects of institutional vs. ad-hoc arbitration. The webinar was intended to be a high-level interactive discussion and an introduction to international arbitration as Kosovo is in the process of passing a draft Law on Commercial Court. This project is part of CLDP’s larger effort to assist Kosovo with judicial capacity building and commercial reform.
