On March 6-8, CLDP, in partnership with the International Trade Administration (ITA), led the Women's Summit in Dubai, through ITA’s Women Empowered Leave Legacies Through Trade and Investment (WELLTI) initiative and in support of International Women's Day. The Summit was attended by Secretary Gina Raimondo and Undersecretary of ITA Marisa Lago, with recorded remarks from General Counsel Leslie Kiernan. As an integral part of the Summit, CLDP conducted capacity building panels on intellectual property, software licensing, negotiations, women in technology, and digital connectivity with Silicon Valley attorneys, including Google.
