Samuel Childerson is a Law Clerk with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of the General Counsel, where he works on Asia-Pacific programs.

Prior to joining CLDP, Mr. Childerson served as an extern with the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State. Mr. Childerson also was a summer intern at the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of the General Counsel and spent a semester interning with the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Trade Representative.

Mr. Childerson received his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he was an Articles Editor on Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, and worked as a student mediator in the school’s mediation clinic. He received a B.S. in Business Economics and Finance, summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
