Eric Morris is an International Program Specialist with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) on the Latin America and the Caribbean team. Prior to coming to CLDP, Mr. Morris served as a Community Economic Development Volunteer in Paraguay for the Peace Corps, where he collaborated with his Paraguayan counterparts to provide financial and entrepreneurial education and opportunities to Paraguayan youth and women. Mr. Morris has interned at the Executive Office of the President as a logistics intern revising Standard Operating Procedures, as well as at Idaho State University, aiding in research published on the Cities for CEDAW initiative and hosting a yearly conference on international affairs attended by various ambassadors and academics. Mr. Morris has also served as a Legislative Assistant for his Member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives, covering Commerce, Justice, Science, Financial Services, Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations. Mr. Morris holds a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from Idaho State University. He speaks Spanish and Guaraní.
