CLDP conducted two weeks of faculty consultations and interactive workshops to help Sultan Qaboos University College of Law establish an international commercial arbitration program centered on participation in an international competition. This event represented the second phase of the project and focuses on legal research training, oral advocacy skills and commercial arbitration principles and procedures. The program, which has been a success at the University of Bahrain, not only imparts essential skills for these countries', creating future lawyers to support business transactions and the economic rule of law, but further integrates their educational and legal institutions into the international legal community.
