Advanced Mediation Techniques for Egyptian Judges

To continue to support the capacity of Egyptian judges to apply newly adopted legislation, CLDP designed 2 two-day workshops in Cairo for the 32 preparatory Egyptian judges to advance their skills in mediation and learn new techniques to make mediation a successful method of court resolved conflict. The judges, working with two US experts, worked through advanced mediations exercises and case studies, playing the roles of the claimants, attorneys and mediators, to perfect strategies for successful mediation consultations.
