Ten Algerian bankers attended a 2-day conference organized by the Robert Morris Associates in Chicago. Speakers and presenters were representatives of private US banks who specialize in servicing small and medium sized enterprises. The format of the event was both plenary and break-out in nature, including separate meetings for specific sub-issues within the broader subject matter. There was be ample opportunity for the Algerian participants to meet and form links with their US counterparts.
